The first offer that I found in this young new year is a free and legal download of Quickbooks Simple Start 2008. I have used a Quickbooks in the past and I found it to be the easiest bookkeeping and accounting software solution for my personal needs. The Simple Start software is great for business uses and it will also be useful for home and personal use. In the past, older versions of Simple Start sell for $60 or more, but you can get it for free through Intuit's and HP's promotion. The Free QuickBooks offer is nice but not everyone needs all the features in QuickBooks. For under $30 you can get the Big E-Z Monthly Bookkeeping program. I think you would find it easy to learn, easy to set up and easy to use because it has a lot less of the features many don't need. Sign up for a Free 7-day downloadable demo and see for yourself.
